September 22nd (Autumn Equinox) begins the annual “How many falling nature objects can you catch with your hand” challenge.

They have to fall naturally and you have to catch them with your hand. Examples: leaves, twigs, acorns, walnuts, feathers. Shaking a tree is cheating.

Tally up how many you catch (honor system) during Fall and post results on Winter Solstice (December 21st).

Winner receives bragging rights for the rest of the year.
