The official story of Mount Rushmore (1927 to 1941) is that 90% percent of the sculptor was carved by dynamite, the rest with chisels, heavy drills, and jackhammers. Over 400 workers and no one was injured in 14 years, and they removed over 450,000 tons of granite. Complete BS!!

So true the narratives are always ridiculous and more comical than true the eyes on the monuments are so detailed down to a glint and how could these idiots hanging on ropes chisel out these faces!! you always need to stand back and admire your work making sure its looking good but that impossible to how could you apply the scale and the details being so tiny yourself its ridiculous
